“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.”
I type this as I sit in a Panera Bread with my blue blazer, yellow shirt and khakis on ready to take care of business on a cool sunny Sunday afternoon. I am surely dressed for success, its 1:40 and the person who I was suppose to meet for business at 1:00 still hasn’t shown up, I guess it’s a no show.
Since starting Ark, I think this month has been the toughest, tough not in a sense that I lost something that I can’t get back but tough in the sense that whatever I want to happen, isn’t happening. Just like the situation today, I have my business swag on but I am not able to take care of business because of something that is beyond my control.
Though this month has been tough, I did get my first check from a client that we are working for. – I know that Ark is going to be successful and my dreams and goals will come to pass, till then I am gonna try by best and leave the result to the Man upstairs. 🙂
