Be Different.
“We can’t look at the competition and say we’re going to do it better, we say we’re going to do it differently.”
This past Labor Day we decided to take a company field trip to see the movie “Jobs.” Naturally, Steve Jobs is every entrepreneur’s inspirational leader. He was, almost to a fault, one of the most driven human beings that the Information Age has seen. As we on the Ark know, motivation is a key ingredient to success. Another part of success is differentiation and customization; how you set yourself or your company apart from the competition. When Jobs was creating the Apple brand, IBM was technically creating the same products that performed the same functions. Jobs had a vision for Apple. He wanted to create a product that satisfied needs and wants that his consumers didn’t know they had. He wanted to touch people on a deeper level than simple brand loyalty; he wanted brand activists.
Yes, there are other companies that, on the surface, seem to provide the same services that we do, but the movie “Jobs” articulated exactly how we set the Ark apart from them. We want to touch people’s minds and hearts through creative and artistic content management. Anyone can create a Facebook page, but Ark can compose clever and personable posts that attract new consumers and retain current ones. We want to provide more than the standard, we want to provide quality and set a new standard. – We live to work and work to create, create not just content but art, call it mARKeting.
